Saturday, March 17, 2018 ~ Sit Down Meal ~ Payment Due by Tuesday, January 2nd
Adapted from the Disney film set in New York at the turn of the century, NEWSIES
is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of
teenage “newsies” who dream only of a better life far from the hardships of the streets.
But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distributions
prices at the newsboys expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies
“newsies” from across the city to strike for what’s right. High-energy with non-stop
thrills, the stage version includes eight brand-new songs by the original team of Alan
Menken and Jack Feldman while keeping many of the favorite and beloved songs
from the film such as “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” “King of New York,”
and “Santa Fe.” Make reservations now for the latest and hottest Broadway Musical.
